Paul's birthday was this past Tuesday. When I asked him how he would like to celebrate, he told me he wanted to invite his friends over to play. A rather interesting request for an adult, isn't it? Of course, Paul isn't your average adult. He still skateboards once a week and he teaches martial arts for a living.

For as long as I have known Paul, he has loved to play board games. Every other month or he has four or five friends come over and they eat snacks, BBQ and play board games all day. Occasionally, he will have a weekend-long game fest when I am away visiting my family.

It's a cheap form of entertainment and a fun way to spend time with friends. I actually encourage his game days.
