Home Living Room Affording the Fun Stuff
Affording the Fun Stuff
Friday, 20 March 2009
For the past two days I have been working on my presentation for the second half of the Budget Savvy Living course that I am teaching at Chabot College. Tomorrow's class is titled, "Affording the Fun Stuff" and focuses on vacations, entertaining and fashion. You know... the fun stuff.

Last week's students were very enthusiastic. I kept the class interactive as I am well aware that I don't have all the answers. I am always on the lookout for new budget living information. The students had a lot of their own great tips. I was inspired by one student in particular who only uses cash when buying groceries and incidentals. I have been thinking about doing my own "Cash Only Challenge" for quite awhile now. I may just put the challenge out to all of us to see how we do.

Based on the interactivity of last week's class I am really looking forward to getting more tips from the students about what they do to afford vacations, clothes, entertaining and more. I promise to share what I learn with all of you.

Have a great weekend. - Melissa
