Home Grown Corn
Wednesday, 20 May 2009
I planted six corn seedlings in March. I noticed this morning that they are all starting to sprout cobs. Of all the crops I planted this year, I am most looking forward to eating corn.

Because this is the first time I have grown corn in the Bay Area, I only planted the six seedlings. If I have a successful crop, next year I will triple the amount I plant. I plan to remove the kernels from the cob and freeze what we don't eat right away. I look forward to eating home grown corn in December!
