Last week my good friend Carla stopped by for a long overdue visit. She offered to bring the wine. I stopped by Safeway and picked up strawberries and dark chocolate to go with it.

In addition to the wine, Carla was thoughtful enough to pick up a slice of my favorite chocolate cake with cream cheese frosting. We cut the cake into thirds (giving a small slice to Dante) and spread the delicious calories out among the three of us.

It was a lovely, decadent and relaxing evening. We definitely have to get together more often Carla! Thank you.
