The Tosetti Family Christmas, Part 3 - Christmas at the Tosetti's
Christmas Eve is my father-in-law's favorite day of the year. He and Paul's other mom Joan get a 12 foot tree each year. Their living room is filled with huge stuffed animals and six foot tall nutcrackers.
The highlight for Paul Sr. this year was teaching Dante how to use the train that has surrounded their Christmas tree since Paul Jr. was Dante's age. Paul Sr. even picked up an engineer's hat that Dante wore while playing with the train. I'm telling you, the man loves Christmas!
I have written before about how much I admire how effortlessly Paul Sr. and Joan put a delicious, elegant meal on the table. Christmas dinner was equally mouthwatering and beautifully set. We had a nice long dinner with shrimp cocktail, prime rib, creamed spinach and stuffed potatoes. We then headed to the living room to open presents.
The biggest highlight of many highlights of the evening was the 3-piece Sesame Street drum set that Joan's sister-in-law Jean bought for Dante. She and Paul Sr. have a fun
