The freshMinerals product is easy to work with and goes on smoothly.  Admittedly, it isn't as luxurious feeling as bareMinerals.  The brushes that come with the freshMinerals products are average quality, whereas the brushes that come with the bareMinerals kit are high quality and work beautifully.

The How-to DVD that came with the bareMinerals Starter Kit was very helpful, but if you have cable, you can catch most of the information on their infomercial.  That said, having the DVD on hand will allow you to view it anytime.

My conclusion:  I confirmed my belief that the bareMinerals products are worth their price.  However, if I am running low on a particular product and I need to cut corners that month, I would happily pick up a freshMinerals product to tied me over.
